These guys are amazing! Our neighbors had them out to remove a tree, and I wandered over to see about getting a quote for some tree work we needed done. We had gotten about 5 or 6 different quotes before I asked them, and I'm so glad I did! They were by far the most competitive bid we received. Not only that, but they were quick, efficient, and I swear they left our yard better than it was when they arrived. We had them remove one tree and clean up 3 others. He dropped by for a second look before finalizing the quote, and when I asked for scheduling, he said, "How about Thursday?" They showed up right at 8am and managed to finish all 4 trees by 4 pm. They did an excellent job with cleanup, and even took care of some piles of brush that we had set aside to deal with at an undetermined point in the future. They had to remove part of our fence in order to remove the tree in the back yard, and we never expected them to attempt putting it back together. We told them multiple times that it was going to be replaced this spring and so it was completely fine to take it down. Before we could tell them not to worry about it, they were trying to reconstruct a 40 year old, janky fence. Would definitely use these guys again in the future!

Expert Concrete Walkway Installation in Pleasant Hill, MO
A concrete walkway installation done right starts well before the pour. At Riffle Landscaping & Tree Service, we handle concrete walkway projects for homeowners in Pleasant Hill, Lee's Summit, and Blue Springs. The clay-heavy soils common across Cass County and the KC metro area shift with moisture and freeze-thaw cycles. That movement is the main reason walkways crack and heave over time. We prep the base carefully, set proper forms, and account for drainage slope so water moves away from the slab edge. Our owner grew up pouring concrete alongside his grandfather and carried that hands-on foundation into every job since starting the business after high school. Whether you need a front entry walk, a side-yard path, or a garden walkway, we size the work to your property and your soil conditions. Call us to get a walkway that holds up to Missouri weather and stays safe underfoot for years to come.

Concrete Walkway Installation FAQ
Common questions about concrete walkway installation in Pleasant Hill, MO.
Yes, we install concrete walkways throughout Lee's Summit. We work on front entry walks, side-yard paths, and backyard garden walkways for residential properties.
Most cracking in Pleasant Hill traces back to shallow base prep on clay soil. Clay shifts when it absorbs moisture, so a properly compacted base is the most important step.
Yes, sloped yards in Blue Springs are common and we account for grade and drainage in the form layout. Proper slope keeps water from pooling against the slab edge.
Installation covers site prep, grading, base compaction, form setting, the concrete pour, finishing, and control joint cutting. Each step is done to handle local soil and weather conditions.
If your Pleasant Hill walkway has large sections that have heaved, sunk, or crumbled, replacement usually gives a better long-term result than patching. We can assess the condition when we visit.
We work on walkway projects of varying sizes across Pleasant Hill, Lee's Summit, and Blue Springs. A short front entry walk gets the same base prep attention as a longer path.
